The product of the Mid-Hudson Library System's e fundraising forum Project (LSTA FY2000) is here. The Forum is an interactive web site designed to stimulate conversation through an online discussion board, perfect for public library trustees.

The inaugural forums are capital campaigns featuring the fundraising consultant that helped the Millbrook Library raise over $2 million in less than six months - Susan Love and Trustees & Fundraising featuring Mary Jo Ketchum, a veteran library trustee and a former president of the New York State Association of Library Boards (NYSALB).

Susan shares tips for running a campaign, information on hiring a consultant and some general fundraising knowledge in her interview. Mary JO Ketchum, a library trustee and development consultant for over twenty years, shares her thoughts on library trustees and their role in fundraising along with some general fundraising information she has learned during her many years as a fundraiser. Log on today to read the interviews, view case study materials, follow topic related links and participate on the interactive discussion board. New to discussion boards?
